  • I like RoF/CS and Pits, personally, because of the relativley high monster density and the fact that they can drop every item in the game, specifically Archon Plates. The number of max sockets is tied to ilvl I'm not sure exactly what the min level is for a 4/5/6-socket polearm, but I'm pretty sure you need to get to at least A5 normal or A1 NM before a 4-socket polearm can drop.Īnywhere with high monster density is good for socket hunting. If you stack up like 450+ MF, you may notice the difference, but I run a socket/charm hunting Bowazon who uses Travs for the +damage, and I dont really notice the extra MF turning my white drops blue too often.Īlso, I dont think you cant find a 4 socket polearm in Normal Cows.at least I know you cant find a 4os Crystal Sword in Normal Cows.

Not sure if those numbers are correct but you get the ideaĪ small amount of MF wont hurt you. With 200% MF, that drops to around 94% whites and 6% m/r/s/u. With 0MF, something like 98% of drops will be whites and 2% will be magic/rare/set/unique. Even with lots of MF, your chance of finding whites still doesnt go down that much.
